Our video project informs viewers about the potential implications of AI and persuades them not to take AI at face value. This is directed towards the university student and young professional demographic, as AI is becoming much more prevalent in their average day-to-day. AI is already replacing a variety of thinking processes for many students, however, there are positive aspects to current AI as well. Therefore our video is not convincing purely of the negative but enables our audience to be mindful when using it.
We used a fast-paced style to keep younger viewers engaged, including subtle humour alongside deeper emotional themes. Colouring was an important aspect to portray an introductory positive atmosphere that progressively became sombre, referencing what our reality could become.
The final projection scene, which was foreshadowed throughout our video, pulls our protagonist back to a sense of reality where the effects of AI dependency have become apparent. The slow zoom and empty environment create isolation, portraying a metaphorical space of self-realisation.

Our video was made to be played before a movie at the cinema as it is more of a short film than an advertisement. Additionally, this is a location where many young people attend.
